NetworkLatencyView is a monitoring program that allows you to check your network's latency or ping. This value is key for understanding the stability of your Internet connection, as well as the time it takes for your information to reach its destination.
NetworkLatencyView is able to monitor the connection latency for all the programs you have open. As soon as it detects an external connection, it will tell you the source IP, the destination IP, and the most recent and average latency of that connection. For example, if you're listening to music on Spotify, it will tell you the latency between your network and Spotify's servers.
For each IP address, the program displays the 10 most recent latency values and calculates their corresponding average. The latency value is measured in milliseconds and reflects the time it takes for the connection to go to and from the destination server.
Thanks to this information, you can determine if your connection is performing poorly, or if there's a problem with a specific service.
For NetworkLatencyView to work correctly, it must be opened by the administrator. If you don't open it that way, it will display a warning, and you'll see the option to reopen it as the administrator.
If you're looking for a program to monitor your network connection, don't hesitate to download NetworkLatencyView.
